'We will find you and kill you!' Donald Trump launches 'large-scale' airstrikes against Isis
Donald Trump has sanctioned "large-scale" airstrikes against Isis terrorists as the US renewed its Operation Hawkeye campaign.
US Central Command confirmed the strikes took place in conjunction with partner forces at 5.30pm.
Operation Hawkeye Strike was launched on December 19, following a direct attack on US and Syrian forces just days earlier.
Two US soldiers and a civilian interpreter were killed in the ambush by a lone Islamic State gunman.
