Sir Keir Starmer has announced a social media ban for under the age of 16 as he vowed to protect children online.
The Prime Minister was expected to announce an "Australia-style" social media ban for more than 12 million under-16s today, which he has promised will "protect children".
These are expected to include TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, X, YouTube, Snapchat and Reddit.
