Ann Widdecombe’s former driver Peter Horrell has paid tribute to the “kind-hearted” former MP after her death.
A manhunt is underway after Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that a 26-year-old man was arrested before later being released and eliminated from their enquiries.
Speaking to GB News, Mr Horrell paid an emotional tribute.
“Why did they do it? Was it a robbery gone wrong? I don’t know”, he said.
“It’s such a shock to the system. She was a really, really kind hearted person. Very thoughtful.
“I will sadly miss her.”
