Three asylum seekers found guilty of raping woman on Brighton beach

An Iranian man and two Egyptian men have been found guilty with two counts of rape at Hove Crown Court today.

The three foreign nationals include Abdulla Ahmadi, a 25-year-old Iranian national, and two Egyptian nationals - 20-year-old Karin Al-Danasurt, and 25-year-old Ibrahim Alshafe.

Sussex police say they have conducted a "fast-paced investigation" after a woman was attacked on Brighton beach in the early hours of Saturday, October 4.

The attack was described as “cynical, predatory and callous”, after the victim became separated from her friends on a night out.
