Reform UK mayor and Olympic gold medalist under investigation for 'showing naked pictures of himself to female staffer'
Reform UK's Luke Campbell is under investigation for allegedly showing naked pictures of himself to a female member of staff.
The Mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire is being probed amid accusations he showed the senior officer “naked and sexualised images” depicting himself.
A Reform UK spokesman said the father-of-three, who is married to childhood sweetheart and model Lynsey Kraanen, "firmly denies the allegations".
"They come from a disgruntled employee attempting to leverage a settlement in a meritless workplace dispute," Nigel Farage's party added.
The Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority confirmed a probe into the allegations was ongoing.
It said: "As with all public authorities, the combined authority has a standards process that can be engaged to deal with complaints about members and a complaints procedure that can be used to deal with complaints about officers.
"The standards process and the complaints procedure must be carried out in a fair and independent manner.”
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government said in a statement The Observer: “While we cannot comment on individual allegations, mayors should be held to the highest possible standards in elected office and combined authorities must have appropriate arrangements for protecting their staff, with the right safeguards in place when allegations are made.

“We have established processes in place to intervene in cases where they fail to meet these standards and will not hesitate to use them where required.”
The Reform UK mayor shot to stardom during the 2012 London Olympics after winning Gold for Team GB Boxing in the 56kg Bantamweight division.
He was subsequently awarded an MBE for services to the sport.
In 2013, Mr Campbell took part in the ITV show Dancing on Ice, reaching the final and finishing in third place.

In February 2025, the former sportsman was announced as the Reform UK candidate for the Hull and East Yorkshire mayoral race after he claimed he had registered at the "last minute".
On the campaign trail, Mr Campbell said he "did not care for politics" but insisted he was standing to "give back" to his home city.
Last year, Mr Campbell stormed to victory, receiving 48,491 votes in East Yorkshire, putting him 10,981 ballots ahead of Liberal Democrat Mike Ross in second.
In his victory speech, the 37-year-old declared: "The reason I stood for this role was simple - to put people first in this region.

"That commitment starts now. I promise I will not let you down."
Last month, it was rumoured Mr Campbell could defect to Labour; however, the boxing champion was quick to slap the speculation down.
“I have not had any conversations with any other party about defection," he said.
"I am a Reform UK mayor. I don’t know where these rumours have come from and there is no basis for them.”
