Reform MP hopes ‘people can come together’ after Rupert Lowe offers Nigel Farage deal to unite with Restore Britain
Reform MP Andrew Rosindell has said he hopes “people can come together” after Rupert Lowe offered Nigel Farage a deal with Restore Britain.
Speaking to GB News, the Romford representative said a “divided right” would only “benefit Labour and the left-wing parties”.
Mr Lowe, who set up Restore as a splinter party after leaving Reform, extended an offer to Mr Farage following Labour’s victory in the Manchester mayoral by-election.
Reform’s Sian Astley finished second with 111,928 votes, 21 per cent of the electorate, while Restore’s Marlon West finished fourth with 46,289 votes, or 8.7 per cent, in the first round.
“The Greater Manchester result showed what Restore Britain can deliver,” Mr Lowe said in a video address.
“The next step is how we maximise the chances of delivering the change Britain needs – it means putting personal differences aside.
“That is why today I am making a public offer to Nigel Farage and Reform UK.”
Reacting to the olive branch, Mr Rosindell began: “Rupert was elected as a Reform UK MP under Nigel's leadership. So clearly there's common ground on lots of issues.”
He then contextualised the offer against the reality of Britain’s political landscape, arguing the nation needed a rapid course correction.
“My concern is this: our country is heading into a very, very dark place under a Labour government, which I think is doing huge damage to our country.
“The next election is going to be very difficult because you could find that Labour, Liberals, Greens and goodness knows who else form some left-wing alliance.
“We do somehow have to bring the right of centre in British politics together."

“What happens with Restore and with Rupert is a matter for Rupert to talk to Nigel about.”
Returning to a national context, the Reform MP said: “I would say to him and to people across the country is that we need a change of government next time.
“Another left-wing government – goodness knows what's going to happen to our country if we don't rescue Britain from this direction. We're heading in at the moment.
“Any hope that people can come together and vote for a new government that can save Britain from this mess, I'm all in favour of that.
“A lot of what Rupert is saying is correct, but we need to bring things together to get this government out.
“At the moment, if you have a divided right, all the benefit will go to Labour and the left-wing parties.”
Mr Rosindell added a hypothetical united right would be so behind the Reform leader, stating: “I think it would be with Nigel Farage as our Prime Minister.”
As a condition of his offer, Mr Lowe insisted Reform must commit to mass deportations to “reverse” mass immigration, restoring “demographic security” for the native British people, address Islamism and affirm the UK’s Christian heritage.
“A lot of what he says will resonate with Reform voters and with British people,” Mr Rosindell said.
“We are absolutely at the end of our tether with the mass immigration that's come to our country, which nobody voted for, both legal, which is obviously concerning everybody and illegal; both have had a detrimental impact.
“He talks about the Christian heritage of this country. Well, I do as well. And I worry that our Christian heritage, the foundations of this country, are being watered down and undermined.
“Our culture, our heritage, our way of life, our traditions, our customs are being sidelined,” the Reform MP insisted.
