Reform UK are "baffled" over an investigation into its deputy leader Richard Tice after he "failed to declared an interest while fighting antisemitism".
Daniel Greenberg, the Standards Commissioner, confirmed an investigation has been launched against Mr Tice, focusing on a failure to declare an interest in Israel while speaking at a debate in Westminster Hall.
A Reform source described the investigation as "baffling" to the Telegraph, saying: "He was fighting anti-Semitism in Westminster Hall, and it ends up in an investigation."
