Patrick Christys reveals council blocked him from filming in Crowborough park locals claim is used by asylum seekers
Patrick Christys has revealed he was blocked from filming a park in Crowborough - which residents claim is used by asylum seekers - by the local council.
Reform UK councillor Sarah Jury told the GB News star that she had heard complaints over migrants being shepherded from the nearby housing at Crowborough barracks to the green.
“I used to walk up there myself quite safely. I wouldn't go up there now because we understand that there have been people from the camp taken up there,” Ms Jury said.
Her comment prompted Patrick to reveal that he and his film crew had been stopped in their attempts to cover the area in question.
“We wanted to go and film that specific park because we keep being told that this is where migrants congregate and that they're being led there.
“The council blocked us from filming in that park… That is quite telling, isn't it? The council decided that of all the places around here, we couldn't film.”
Patrick pledged to return later without a camera to investigate further.
