Nigel Farage says counter-terror police blocked conference speech amid security scare
Nigel Farage has revealed that counter-terrorism police intervened to stop him delivering his speech at the Reform UK conference after a security scare.
The Reform leader said the intervention followed the dramatic disruption of the conference, which was hijacked by Greenpeace activists during Richard Tice’s speech.
A remote-controlled banner portraying Farage as Mr Monopoly was unfurled behind Tice, carrying the slogan: “Collect £5 million, burn the planet.”
