Ilhan Omar ‘sprayed with mystery substance’ after being charged by man at Minneapolis town hall
Democrat congresswoman Ilhan Omar was allegedly sprayed with an “unknown substance” after a man angrily charged at her during a town hall meeting in Minneapolis.
The incident happened as she addressed the audience, with security swiftly tackling the man to the ground before escorting Ms Omar from the room.
The meeting marked her first in-person town hall of the year, held amid recent protests in the city against Ice agents.
