Donald Trump calls for Ukraine to 'get a new President' as clash with Volodymyr Zelensky intensifies following Vladimir Putin diesel deal
Donald Trump has said it is "time for Ukraine to get a new President" amid an intensifying row with Volodymyr Zelensky.
The US leader's comments come as he inked a major diesel deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
President Trump is understood to have made the deal after President Zelensky resisted his request to carry out strikes on Russia's energy infrastructure.
“He better damn well stop,” the US leader told reporters after striking an agreement with Moscow to release its diesel supplies into the global market.
